I think we can clearly see a "Flickr touch", in the subject, the colors, the photomanipulations. And I think it's great, it appears that they find their inspiration in each other photostream, but they still have their individuality of course. I think we can also notice a DeviantArt touch'. By the Way, here's my own Flickr page www.flickr.com/photos/gerry-an…
wow! all these pieces of work are amazing! I feel so behind on my skillz....>.> lol! I have no super photoshop stuff on my comp, the most I can do is play with colours and tonesXp haah! I would love to check out flickr more often, my cousin has an account on it^^
I'm in a flickr period. But Flickr has its inconvenients, it's quite obscured. I mean, you really need to seek a long time, and to know some good tips if you wanna find great photographers there. The best way is to find one, and then, look in his favs (when you're a great photographer, you also have great taste). But, it's almost depressing to see how talented they are. T_T"
oh I know right? Its almost discouarging to see such beautiful pieces of work! -.- but I try and look at it as inspiration for my own work rather then being envious... though I must admit sometimes its VERY hardXD haha! Would you suggest flickr then for beginners in photography or no?
..Yes i know what u mean, sometimes I just think to myself: well ok they are all amazing photographers, But I can do a lot of things they can't, like for instance, resolving equations. It's my quantum of solace. But it's not very effective XD. Well, flickr is indeed very interesting if you wanna improve your skills: see miss aniela's photostream, from her first [link] to her very first photomanipulations [link] and her most recent photos [link] ... It's very inspiring i think .
